Dear Valued Customer,
As you may be aware until Thursday of this week, there are planned RMT strikes, effectively leaving no or very minimal underground transport within London. As a result, this has led to very high volumes of traffic on the roads due to people having to find alternative solutions to get into London. This means our drivers are finding journeys that normally take five minutes, take nearly fourty-five minutes and this has led to some delays in our transit times.
Due to this, we have had to make the very tough decision to bring forward our cut off times temporarily until the strikes end on Thursday 11th September.
Our new temporary ‘last booking’ times for the following postcodes will be:
W1: 4:30pm
SW1: 4:30PM
SW3,SW6,SW7,SW10: 4PM
NW1: 3PM
W2: 3:30PM
EC: 3:45PM
WC: 3:45PM
N1: 3PM
If you are looking for collection within any other postcode until Thursday, please contact our customer service team, who will be able to advise you further.
Also, please note this decision is only for the UK and International overnight shipments. The sameday service does remain the same. However, due to the high volumes of traffic on the roads in London, please do be aware that delays are possible over the next few days.
Once again, this is a very hard decision to make and we hope this does not cause too much inconvenience for anyone, but we believe this is the best decision to make to ensure that customers do not face further delays to their shipments.
‘Last booking’ times will return to the normal times on Friday 12th September once these strikes have ended.
We once again thank you for your continued business and can only hope you understand that this decision was not made without much consideration.
