You may have noticed that we have made slight amendments to our online courier booking page. The amendments have been made to the SERVICE LEVEL option box towards the bottom of the ‘create consignment’ bookings screen. This is now an obligatory field to fill in.
A guide for our courier services is as follows;
GLOBAL DOCUMENT EXPRESS
An express global document only delivery generally used when sending important paperwork and documents ONLY to other global destinations. It’s a A to B as fast as possible service with a proof of delivery upon consignee’s receipt of the document.
GLOBAL PARCEL EXPRESS
An express global delivery service for all of your companies dutiable goods / parcels. Please remember that even a CD disc or a USB stick are classed as a ‘dutiable good’. When using this service you will also have to provide shipping paperwork (called a pro-forma or commercial invoice) which details the item(s) that you are sending, what they are made from, any commodity code you may have as well as the item(s) value.
EURO EXPRESS PRE 9AM
A service that will deliver to MOST European main cities and towns before 9AM the next working day. Please speak to our Customer Services team for service availability and additional premium service costs.
EURO EXPRESS PRE 12 NOON
A service that will deliver to MOST European main cities and towns before 12 NOON the next working day. Please speak to our Customer Services team for service availability and additional premium service costs.
EURO DOCUMENT EXPRESS
An express document service into Europe. This is an A to B as fast as possible service where you will be emailed the proof of delivery upon the consignee’s receipt of the document.
EURO PARCEL EXPRESS
An express European delivery service for all of your companies dutiable goods / parcels. Please remember that even a CD disc or a USB stick are classed as a ‘dutiable good’ and therefore must travel on this parcel service. When using this service you will also have to provide shipping paperwork (called a pro-forma or commercial invoice) which details the item(s) that you are sending, what they are made from, any commodity code you may have as well as the item(s) value.
UK OVERNIGHT
This service is delivered within the UK as a next working day delivery service. The delivery of your shipment is usually carried out between 9AM and 5PM.
UK OVERNIGHT PRE 9AM
A service that is classed as a ‘special delivery’ and delivered to your customer before 9AM the next working day. Please be aware that deliveries can start as early as 7.30AM. Please speak to our Customer Services Team for additional premium service costs.
UK OVERNIGHT PRE 10.30AM
A service that is classed as a ‘special delivery’ and delivered to your customer before 10.30AM the next working day. Please be aware that deliveries can start as early as 7.30AM. Please speak to our Customer Services Team for additional premium service costs.
UK OVERNIGHT PRE 12 NOON
A service that is classed as a ‘special delivery’ and delivered to your customer before 12 NOON the next working day. Please be aware that deliveries can start as early as 7.30AM. Please speak to our Customer Services Team for additional premium service costs.
UK SATURDAY AM DELIVERY
This service is delivered on a Saturday morning usually before 12 NOON. However, on rare occasions deliveries can be made up to 1.30PM on a Saturday. Please speak to our Customer Services Team for additional premium service costs.
LONDON S’DAY BIKE STD
The London bike messenger sameday delivery service would usually collect from your business address within 45 minutes of a booking made by yourself. The delivery of your consignment may take up to 3 hours to deliver if the consignment is destined for a Central London business address. *In the weeks before Christmas this may take a little longer than these advised timings. LONDON S’DAY BIKE GOLD
This London sameday bike messenger delivery service is our ‘premium’ level service. You should have your consignment collected within 35 minutes of your booking and delivered directly to your customer. *In the weeks before Christmas this may take a little longer than these advised timings. Please speak to our Customer Services Team for additional premium service costs.
LONDON S’DAY VAN STD
The London van messenger sameday delivery service would usually collect from your business address within 1 hour of a booking made by yourself. The delivery of your consignment may take up to 3 hours to deliver if the consignment is destined for a Central London business address. *In the weeks before Christmas this may take a little longer than these advised timings. OUTSIDE OF LONDON S’DAY
This is our ‘premium level’ time critical service for shipments that have to be delivered on that very day of booking no matter where in the UK you need a delivery. We can use either motorcycles or vans to deliver. Please speak to our Customer Services Team for a competitive quote.
